We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Spray Painter to join Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable transportation.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Line Manager, you will be part of a collaborative production team responsible for delivering high-quality finishing work to strict specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding and other preparation techniques.
Mix and match paints, coatings and finishes to achieve the required colours and textures.
Apply paint and coatings using spray-painting techniques in accordance with specifications.
Ensure a high-quality finish while maintaining attention to detail.




Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet quality and production requirements.
Your Profile
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
ACertificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology, Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Finishing, or Certificate III in Automotive Vehicle Body.
Qualification will be sighted at interview.
Previous experience in spray painting, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
The ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures and specifications.
A reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented approach.
Ability to successfully complete a Drug & Alcohol Test and National Police Check following a successful interview.
Contract
6 months, with potential for extension
