About the role
This is a varied position where no two days are quite the same. Depending on the needs of the practice, your day may include:
Chair-side assisting with our dentists and oral health practitioners
Preparing surgeries and assisting with patient care
Sterilisation and instrument reprocessing
Reception and administrative duties
Answering phones and assisting patients with appointments




Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team
We are particularly interested in finding someone who enjoys being busy, likes working with people and is happy to help wherever they are needed.
About you
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Have a genuine interest in healthcare and dental assisting
Are friendly, caring and confident when communicating with people
Are reliable, punctual and take pride in doing your job well
Enjoy working as part of a team
Are also comfortable working independently and using initiative
Are organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy workplace
Are willing to learn, take direction and continue developing your skills
Have a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive team environment
Have good computer skills and a professional phone manner
Are available between
7-30 am and 6-00 pm, Monday to Friday
, depending on the roster
Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport, with the ability to travel between our clinics occasionally if required
Previous dental experience or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting would be highly regarded,
but is not essential
. Attitude, reliability and finding the right fit for our team are equally important to us.
