We are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter who will play a vital part in ensuring our assets in Balcatta are optimized to provide the best possible products from a mechanical perspective ensuring our machinery is maintained so that our plant can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
n
This is a full‐time position, working a 12‐hour shift pattern of 2 x days, 2 x nights and 4 x days off.

What are we looking for?
n
n
Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
n
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
n
The ability and confidence to work effectively without supervision
n




Experience with computerized preventative maintenance programs
n
Good planning, time management and communication skills
n
Strong commitment to health and safety standards
n
Extensive knowledge and use of fault-finding techniques within an automated production plant.
n
Perform work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, quality, and environmental measurements, (e.g., AS****, ISO ****, QMS, Food Safety Systems (HACCP, RMA).
