About us:

Harris Fields State School, located in Logan City south of Brisbane, opened in January **** as Smith Road State School. Built on land that was once a poultry farm, the school was later renamed Harris Fields State School after the Harris family.

Today, the school celebrates a vibrant and diverse community, with students from many cultural backgrounds, including Pacific Islander, African, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
n
Your chance: Clean and sanitise windows, doors, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, toilets, sick bays, cupboards and other surfaces.
n
Maintain cleaning equipment and carry out cobweb and mildew removal using extendable equipment where required.
n
Sweep, vacuum, hose and clean indoor and outdoor areas, including concrete, asphalt, bitumen and paved surfaces.
n
Collect and dispose of rubbish, maintain litter-free areas,



and clear materials from drains and gutters around buildings.
n
Dust furniture, equipment and fans; remove graffiti and maintain vinyl and timber floors through buffing, stripping and polishing, along with other cleaning duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
