We are seeking dedicated, mature, compassionate and easy-going Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide Support to our Female Client located in Brassall.
n
Our female Client is a warm and positive individual who enjoys life with an easy-going attitude. She values independence and is looking for a support worker who can complement her lifestyle and personality. Someone who is comfortable around her pets and up for fun activities in the community!
n
In this role you will Support her with community access, domestic assistance around the home and meal preparation.
n
Shifts Available:
n
n
Monday to Sunday's 8:00am to 1:00pm.
n
Monday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
n
n
We are looking for someone with availability across varies days, and someone who is comfortable to support when urgent shifts arise.
n
What You'll Need:
n
n
A valid driver's license.
n
A friendly and respectful attitude.
n
Ability to follow instructions and support independent living.
n




We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions whererequired, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having theassurance of consistency ofClientsyou support. You have a comprehensive suite ofonline learning to support you and face to face learnings.

Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
n
Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
n
Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain- preferred)
n
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
n
Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
n
Manual handling experience required
n
n
To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
n
Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
n
Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
n
Provide support to our Clients as required
n
Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
n
Be reliable and versatile to fill shifts when required
n
Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
n
To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
