Our client is a Large Government agency who are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Canberra, ACT.
n
Role Summary
n
The SoR Business Analyst will support a major procurement-readiness workstream, leading the development, validation and management of business, capability, information, integration, functional and non-functional requirements for a future Revenue Management System.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead current-state and future-state analysis, including business processes, business rules, customer journeys and operational requirements.
n
Elicit, analyse, document and validate comprehensive business, functional, non-functional, integration and information requirements.
n
Lead the development of a procurement-ready Statement of Requirements and supporting procurement evaluation materials.
n
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and collaborate with business, technical, architecture and project teams.
n
Develop and maintain process models, capability models, service blueprints, use cases, user stories and requirements traceability artefacts.
n
Support digital transformation,



system enhancement, integration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Selection Criteria
n
n
Demonstrated experience as a SoR Business Analyst on complex ICT, digital transformation, business systems modernisation or enterprise platform initiatives.
n
Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling, capability analysis and developing large-scale Statements of Requirements.
n
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise ICT procurements, including SaaS platforms, business systems or digital services.
n
Experience working with complex business rules and requirements in revenue, taxation, finance, compliance or other regulated environments.
n
Robust stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
n
Experience in revenue administration, taxation, rates, land tax or similar government regulatory environments will be highly regarded.
n
Experience with service design, customer journey mapping or service blueprinting is desirable.
n
n
On offer is an initial contract through to 30 June **** with the ACT Government in Canberra, with a highly competitive daily rate.
