, you will provide essential nursing support to our general practice patients, contributing to high-quality primary healthcare delivery in the region. Key responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients attending the general practice clinic, including assessments, wound management, and patient education
Administer medications and vaccinations under appropriate clinical direction and in accordance with legislative requirements
Perform routine clinical observations including vital signs monitoring and basic diagnostic procedures
Assist practitioners during consultations and minor procedures as required
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Support infection prevention and control measures and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
Provide compassionate patient support and health promotion advice within the general practice setting
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Assist with recalls and cold chain management
What we're looking for
Current registration with the APHRA as a Registered Nurse
Current First Aid and CPR certification
A friendly and welcoming Nurse
Demonstrated experience in general nursing, preferably within a general practice setting




Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide patient-centred care and health education
Sound knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
Flexibility and adaptability to varying workloads and patient presentations typical of general practice
Professional approach to documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations
