About the Role
n
This is a pivotal role where you'll shape the technical capability of our Motor Claims consultants - from onboarding new team members right through to designing ongoing development programs that keep our people sharp, confident and customer-focused.
n
You'll be the go-to expert for technical knowledge, coaching support and process improvement, working closely with our Motor Claims leaders and the broader Learning & Development team to build a culture of high performance with high integrity.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Delivering coaching and technical knowledge training to Motor Claims consultants and leaders
n
Designing and implementing a technical training model that boosts capability and productivity
n
Owning the ongoing content management of our learning materials and knowledge base
n
Identifying knowledge gaps and technical trends, and turning them into actionable coaching and training solutions
n
Supporting the onboarding of new team members and helping them transition confidently into their roles
n
Providing trend data and progress reporting to the Leadership Team
n
Partnering with the Learning & Development team to continuously improve our induction programs
n
Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience
n
Ensuring all changes are executed and embedded through a Change Program framework
n




Making sure we stay compliant with business risk policies and relevant legislation - and challenging those policies when the commercial or legislative environment demands it

What We're Looking For
n
You'll bring a combination of technical claims expertise and genuine passion for developing people. Specifically, you'll have:
n
Previous experience in a Motor Claims role (preferred)
n
Solid working knowledge of insurance legislation and procedures
n
Excellent coaching skills; ideally with experience using Coaching Conversations methodology
n
Strong Customer Service skills in line with Customer Connections methodology
n
The ability to spot and document consultant performance improvement opportunities
n
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences and skill levels
n
Confidence working autonomously in a fast‐paced, high‐pressure environment
n
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
n
A continuous improvement mindset; always looking for smarter ways to do things
n
Comfort with change and the resilience to help others navigate it
n
Location - This role will be based in our North Lakes office.
n
