We are looking for an experienced Yard Hand to join the Maintenance Team overseeing the protected removal and handling of materials, waste and general yard maintenance to support smooth operation across the site.
In this role you will be doing:
Manage and process site waste for disposal and recycling across the site
Monitor large industrial waste bins
Conduct mechanical sweeping as needed
Perform courier driving duties as required
Provide assistance to the Maintenance and Production teams when required
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
Forklift license - LF and driver's license
Ability to operate waste-processing equipment - cardboard and plastic compactors
Good understanding of OH&S; and environmental requirements
Ability to use mechanical lifting devices and forklift attachments as required
Demonstrated drive and can follow daily routines and procedures
