Senior Warehouse Pick & Pack Lead
to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Pick & Pack Operations
Work as an active member of the warehouse pick and pack team.
Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders in line with delivery schedules.
Assist with staging and preparation of outbound deliveries.
Support efficient daily warehouse workflow and prioritisation.
Lead and coordinate a team of 4 warehouse team members.
Work hands-on alongside the team on pick, pack and warehouse duties for approximately half of each shift, splitting time between floor work and supervision.
Provide day-to-day support, guidance and direction to team members.
Ensure team members are signed in and out appropriately and taking required meal and rest breaks.
Support consistent adherence to warehouse procedures and food safety requirements.
Assist with onboarding and practical training of new warehouse team members.
Escalate operational or process concerns to management where required.
Receivals & Daily Checklists
Complete all incoming stock receivals daily, in line with company procedures and delivery schedules.
Verify received stock against purchase orders and delivery dockets, checking quantity, quality, and condition on arrival.
Ensure temperature-controlled and cold chain goods are received, checked and stored in line with food safety protocols.




Complete daily receivals and warehouse checklists in full and submit for management approval/sign-off each day.
Identify and elevate any discrepancies, damaged goods, or non-conforming stock at receival.
Maintain accurate receival records and documentation to support traceability and compliance.
Stock Presentation & Inventory Control
Maintain warehouse organisation and presentation standards.
Face up stock and ensure products are clearly organised and accessible.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation practices are consistently followed.
Identify damaged, short-dated or non-conforming stock and elevate appropriately.
Support accurate stock movement and storage practices.
Stocktake & Warehouse Accuracy
Lead and coordinate floor-based stocktake activities on scheduled stocktake days.
Assist in investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
Support warehouse accuracy and inventory integrity.
Assist with booking freight and consignments as required.
Coordinate scheduled inbound and outbound shipments with approved carriers.
Prepare and maintain accurate freight and shipping documentation.
Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and supporting paperwork.
Assist in tracking deliveries and escalating freight issues or delays.
Food Safety & Compliance
Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
Maintain compliance with company procedures and relevant operational standards.

Skills & Experience
Experience working within warehouse, logistics or pick and pack operations, ideally in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Experience leading or supervising a small team.
Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
LF (Low Order) forklift licence.
Demonstrated ability to support and guide team members on the floor.
Experience with daily receivals processes and completing/approving operational checklists.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Reliable, practical and hands-on approach to work.
Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments and undertake manual handling.
Experience within food manufacturing, cold chain or FMCG environments.
Stocktake or inventory experience.
Freight or consignment booking experience.
