This is an influential role for an accomplished Landscape Architect who wants the autonomy to lead, while staying close to the design and delivery they love. You'll guide multidisciplinary teams, build trusted client relationships, lead complex commissions from strategy and concept through to construction, mentor developing designers, and help shape the quality, commercial performance and future growth of the practice.
Key responsibilities
Lead projects and teams from briefing and master planning through concept, documentation, tender and construction.
Set a strong design direction and guide creative, context-responsive and technically resolved outcomes.
Act as a trusted client contact, providing clear, commercially informed advice.
Manage scope, program, fees, variations, risk and financial performance.
Mentor Landscape Architects and graduates through guidance, design critique and feedback.
Prepare proposals, tenders and presentations that win work, and help drive the growth of the landscape team.
Grow client base and invigorate design outcomes for the team.
About you
Typically 7+ years' relevant experience, including leading projects and teams; capability matters more than exact years.
A strong portfolio across land development, communities, public realm, infrastructure or civic projects.




Advanced capability across design, documentation, tender and construction-phase services.
Sound commercial judgement across scope, fees, program, resourcing and risk.
Confident leadership, client management and communication skills.
Registered Landscape Architect with AILA (or eligibility and commitment to register).
Australian working rights and a driver licence.
