Interior Design & Documentation Specialist
to support our growing custom home portfolio. This hybrid role blends interior design, documentation, and client selections, perfect for an experienced interior designer who also thrives in materiality, finishes, joinery, and internal design detail.
If you love both the technical and creative sides of residential design, this role offers the ideal mix.
About the Role
Located within Acudesign, this role works alongside the Building Designer, who leads the architectural and planning documentation. Your focus is the interior story - supporting design delivery, client coordination, and internal design processes. You will prepare complete interior documentation packages while developing internal design concepts, finish selections, electrical and lighting layouts,



and material palettes. This role provides both design impact and technical responsibility, carrying interior detail from concept through to construction.
Skills & Experience
5–10+ years in interior design and/or documentation (custom homes preferred)
Solid understanding of materials, detailing and interior design principles
Ability to produce complete interior documentation packages
Ability to read and interpret plans with ease
Electrical and lighting layout experience required
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Custom residential interiors
Joinery and internal documentation
Electrical and lighting layouts
RCPs and detailing examples
Materiality, selections or interior schemes
