Bayside Skin Cancer and Medical Clinic – Beaumaris VIC
Our modern, renovated family run clinic is looking for a dedicated and reliable nurse to operate as a melanographer. Located in sunny Bayside, this job is an excellent prospect to provide the highest standards of patient care in an environment where you can spend more time with patients than a hospital setting. Our clinic does 80% skin cancer work and 20% GP.
Key responsibilities
Performing full body photography using the Fotofinder system, largely involving using a dermascopic camera to photograph any lesions on patients and then comparing them to previous photos
Assisting the doctors with surgery, care plans and health assessments
Dressing wounds, removal of stitches from operations
Administering vaccinations or other injected medications
Minor assistance around the clinic including cleaning instruments and restocking
About you
Professional indemnity insurance
Experience in melanography would be preferred but training can be provided
Up to date with required health worker immunisations
