One Early Education has a number of centres. We are currently seeking an experienced Cook who is passionate about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for children for our 110 place centre in Truganina. This is a permanent part time role, working Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will
Have experience and passion for cooking healthy and nutritious meals
Have completed relevant vocational qualifications in commercial cookery and have a current working with children's check
Be experienced in developing a healthy and nutritious rotating menu for children, including children with allergies and intolerances
Be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic centre Cook
Have outstanding time management skills and be confident managing a kitchen;
You will be responsible for
Preparing healthy & nutritious meals on time for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for babies and children each day, including the preparation of purees and special diet meals
Ordering food supplies in line with Menus and within service budget
