Key responsibilities
You will apply contemporary technical expertise to develop practical and cutting-edge solutions within a sensitive operational environment.
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Surveillance, the Technical Surveillance Officer supports complex IBAC investigations through the planning, deployment and operation of specialist technical surveillance capabilities.
Plan, deploy and operate specialist technical surveillance capabilities to support complex investigations.
Develop fit-for-purpose operational plans and strategies that meet investigative requirements, legislation, policies and procedures.
What you need
Demonstrated experience with technologies such as the Internet of Things, internet protocols, audio, radio frequency, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgement and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Experience in convert methods of entry is highly desirable.
