Job Description
Due to continued project wins, this medium-sized engineering consultancy is seeking to add an additional Structural Engineer, on a full time basis, to their growing team.

With diverse clients and projects, this firm has a strong reputation for delivering across apartment, education, health, hotel, and public realm sectors. Projects vary in size and scale, with a typical value between $5M and $500M.

Reporting to an Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Performing engineering design and analysis in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
n
Coordinating work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc., and attending relevant project meetings.
n
Completing site inspections, recording existing field conditions and overseeing the project through construction phase.
n
Organise and coordinate technical documents.
n
Coordinate and direct drafters, as required.
n

As the ideal candidate, you will have:
n
n
A recognised bachelor's degree in engineering.
n




Experience working as a Structural Design Engineer on building projects, in a consulting environment.
n
Familiarity with the design and analysis of steel and concrete framed building structures.
n
Attention to detail and the capability to follow up on targets and deadlines to achieve outcomes.
n
The ability to work independently and to communicate clearly with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
n
Strong time management skills, and able to achieve deadlines and commitments.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n

The role is offering a salary of up to $110,000. In addition to your salary, you will receive ongoing internal and external training as well as support to achieve your Professional Engineers Registration if you do not already hold it.
