n We're looking for an experienced and technically exceptional
Senior Design Engineer
to lead the design and development of creative new products. Reporting into the R&D; team, you'll take ownership of complex engineering projects from concept through to production release, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to Design Engineers across the business.
What you'll be doing

Lead complex product development projects from concept to production release.
n
Create detailed, manufacturable designs and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.
n
Apply DFM, DFS and sustainability principles throughout the design process.
n
Lead prototyping, testing and validation to ensure performance, quality and reliability.
n
Drive design reviews and DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate risks.
n
Ensure designs meet global compliance, certification and regulatory requirements.
n
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, compliance and project teams.
n
Mentor Design Engineers and provide technical leadership across the NPD team.
n
Drive continuous improvement in product performance,



reliability and engineering standards.

About you
n
n
n
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Extensive product design and development experience in a manufacturing environment.
n
Advanced SolidWorks skills, including complex assemblies and technical documentation.
n
Strong knowledge of prototyping, testing, validation and DFMEA methodologies.
n
Experience designing for manufacture, compliance and certification.
n
Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.
n
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and improvement.
n
Passion for mentoring and developing engineering capability.
