CSS is a growing electronic security business backed by an established building technologies group. We deliver commercial security solutions and are building a team that values quality workmanship, accountability and practical support.
We are looking for an experienced Security Technician who is comfortable taking ownership of their work, operating autonomously when required and contributing positively to a close-knit team. The role offers a genuine mix of installation, programming, commissioning, upgrades and service work, rather than being limited to one type of task.
What you'll be doing
Installing, programming and commissioning access control, alarm, CCTV and intercom systems
Delivering new installations, fit-outs, upgrades and system expansions across commercial sites
Troubleshooting and servicing new and existing electronic security systems
Completing work to a high standard, including accurate testing, handover and documentation
Supporting and sharing knowledge with apprentices where appropriate
About you
Hands-on experience in electronic security installation, programming,



commissioning and service
Confident working independently, organising your day and following work through to completion
Strong IT and networking understanding relevant to modern security systems
Professional with clients, reliable within the team and committed to doing quality work
Systems and platforms
You may work across a range of major brands, with a strong focus on:
Inner Range, Integriti and Inception
Tecom / Challenger
Hikvision and Dahua
Hanwha and Wisenet WAVE
You do not need experience across every platform. Relevant experience with comparable commercial systems will also be valued.
Requirements
Current Victorian Security Licence
Current Working with Children Check
