Medical Receptionist – Vision Radiology Kangaroo Flat

Vision Radiology is seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our Kangaroo Flat team.

About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an important first point of contact for our patients and will work closely with our clinical and administration teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients and providing a warm, welcoming and professional experience
Booking and coordinating patient appointments
Answering telephone enquiries and assisting patients with their queries
Communicating appointment information clearly and professionally
Processing patient information, referrals and payments
Checking and updating patient details accurately
Providing administrative support to the clinical team
Liaising with patients, referrers, radiologists, sonographers and other clinical staff
Managing a busy reception area and prioritising competing tasks
Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Working collaboratively with the wider Vision Radiology team
Ensuring every patient receives an exceptional level of service throughout their visit
About You

Ideally, You Will Have
Previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
Previous customer service experience
Experience using medical booking or practice management systems
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A genuine interest in providing a positive patient experience
A professional and polished approach to patient care
Medical imaging experience is advantageous, however full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

We understand that starting a new role in medical imaging involves learning new systems, processes and procedures.
Comprehensive training will be provided, with the successful applicant completing their initial training in Melbourne.
For applicants based in or travelling from Kangaroo Flat, Vision Radiology will cover the cost of accommodation in Melbourne for the duration of the required training period.
This provides you with the opportunity to receive hands-on training and become confident in our systems and processes before commencing your role at our Kangaroo Flat clinic.
