We are seeking qualified and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our
SANECTOR
team based in
Cheltenham (Melbourne)
.
Shift Details:
This role will be predominately for the Afternoon Shift from 2PM - 10PM, Monday to Friday plus opportunity for overtime .
Key Responsibilities:
Attending to maintenance, repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner
Perform trouble shooting, planned preventive maintenance, minor installations & on equipment
Perform work in a qualified, timely and safe manner within SMYA Safety and Environmental management systems
Assist to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods/procedures to improve machine availability, quality, and safety




Contributing to plant upgrades and reliability improvements
Work with and assist outside contractors as required
What You Will Bring:
Australian recognised Mechanical Trades qualification and relevant tickets
Over 2 years of industry experience, including working with manufacturing and maintenance teams
Experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably Beverage or FMCG industry
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and record-keeping skills
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
