Four -Six Month Contract – Immediate Start

At Smarter Bathrooms+ we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a 4-6 month fixed-term contract to support our finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, and reconciliation functions. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is detail‐oriented, comfortable managing supplier relationships, and confident handling both financial administration and general office/reception duties.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations for the overdraft account and credit card account
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Accounts Payable
Process supplier invoices and overheads invoices
Reconcile supplier statements against processed invoices and follow up on discrepancies
Follow up with suppliers regarding invoice disputes or price discrepancies, liaising with internal teams as needed
Process credit card payments
General & Administrative
Answer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries appropriately
Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts payable role
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicator, comfortable resolving invoice disputes with suppliers
Proficiency in accounting/ERP software (e.g. NetSuite or similar) and Excel
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
You will need proven experience in a busy bookkeeping role, strong communication skills and a professional phone manner and customer service skills are essential, as well as formal qualifications to support your work experience. This is a full-time on-site position.
