About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Internal Sales & Customer Support Representative to join our team.
This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, technical support and internal sales. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, assisting with product selection, quotations, order processing and technical enquiries across a wide range of industrial automation and electrical products.
This position would suit someone with experience in industrial automation, electrical wholesale, electrical trades, instrumentation or technical sales who enjoys working with customers and solving problems.
Your Responsibilities
Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and trade counter.
Preparing quotations and processing sales orders.
Assisting customers with product selection and technical advice.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Following up quotations and sales opportunities.
Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing,



availability and technical information.
Supporting customers with automation, control and electrical product enquiries.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in a technical internal sales, customer support or trade wholesale environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong technical aptitude and a genuine interest in learning new products and technologies.
The ability to research technical information, read manuals & find solutions for customer applications.
Confidence to work through challenges and find solutions, while knowing when to seek support from the team.
A proactive commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a small team.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
An electrical, electronic, instrumentation or industrial trade sales background would be advantageous.
We don't expect you to know every product we sell. What's key is a willingness to learn, a strong technical mindset and the ability to find answers.
Our team has extensive industry experience and will provide training and support, but we are looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, researching solutions and continually expanding their knowledge.
Highly Regarded
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, variable speed drives, sensors, relays or industrial networking products.
Electrical trade, instrumentation or engineering background.
Experience within industrial automation, electrical wholesale or industrial control industries.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP Business One.
