Ammstar is an established independent Mercedes-Benz specialist with workshops in Moorabbin and Fairfield. We're looking for an experienced technician to join our Moorabbin team.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles properly, has strong technical ability and enjoys working as part of a small, experienced team.
Mercedes-Benz Technician – Moorabbin
The Role
You'll be working primarily on Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles, carrying out everything from routine servicing through to complex diagnostic and repair work.
Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing, servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vehicles
Carrying out complex mechanical and electrical diagnostic work
Performing final testing and quality control
Working closely with our service advisors on vehicle and workshop requirements
Sharing your knowledge with other technicians and apprentices
Assisting with workshop tooling, equipment and technical resources
Keeping up to date with Mercedes-Benz technical information, systems and repair procedures
About You
Ideally, you'll have:
Strong experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Mercedes-Benz or other European vehicles
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with contemporary vehicle electrical and electronic systems
Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz XENTRY/Star Diagnosis highly regarded
A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail




The ability to work well within a small, experienced team
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Mercedes-Benz factory training or other European manufacturer training is highly regarded
