About the Role
n
As a Personal Care Worker, you'll support older Australians to remain independent at home through a combination of personal care and domestic assistance.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Personal care and mobility support
n
Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
n
Social support and companionship
n
Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
n
n
Please note: Domestic assistance is an important part of this role and may form a regular component of customer visits.
n
About You
n
We're seeking experienced carers who genuinely enjoy working one-on-one with older people in the community.
n
To be successful, you will have:




n
n
A minimum of 12 months' experience providing personal care in aged care, disability or hospital settings and/or a qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Home & Community Care
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
A passion for supporting older Australians to live independently at home
n
A current Australian Driver's Licence (International licence not accepted)
n
A comprehensively insured vehicle
n
n
Availability Requirements
n
n
Supporting customers across Ballarat and surrounding areas
n
Available to work at least 6 hours per day across a minimum of 3 weekdays
n
Available across service hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm
n
Commit to our paid 2-week Brilliant@Basics Training Program when you commence
