Team Leader – Step Into Store Leadership

We're looking for aTeam Leaderfor our Food Convenience Stores in Gun Hill, Fillongley and Galley Common, Nuneaton(20 or 24 hours per week).
n
This is your chance to move beyond a standard retail role and take real ownership—leading a team, driving performance, and building the skills to progress into Store Management.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
As a Team Leader, you'll take responsibility for key areas of the store and step up to run the operation in the absence of the Store Manager.
n
You'll:
n
n
Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver strong performance
n
Take ownership of shifts, includingopening and closing the store
n
Drive excellent customer service and make us thego‐to store in the community
n
Support recruitment, training and onboarding of new colleagues
n
Manage performance, attendance and team engagement
n
Control key commercial areas includingwaste, stock and labour
n
Maintain high standards across availability, merchandising and compliance
n
n
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll be expected tolead from the front and make decisions that impact the store's success.

About You
n
n
Experience in retail or a fast‐paced customer environment
n
Previous supervisory or leadership experience (or ready to step up)
n
Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets
n
A natural motivator who can get the best out of people
