Cor Cordis is an independent, intentionally mid-sized advisory and restructuring firm. We are big enough for complex, national work, small enough that you'll work directly with Directors and Partners rather than get lost in a hierarchy.
We don't see insolvency as the inevitable outcome. We see it as the last resort - and the skills that manage one are often the same skills that can avoid it.
The opportunity
We're growing our Melbourne restructuring and insolvency team and hiring at the Supervisor level. You'll be working on live engagements from day one, not sitting on the sidelines of them. This is a structured track toward Manager level and beyond.
What you'll do
Depending on your experience, you could be:
Running the day-to-day of formal and informal insolvency appointments, from external administrations through to workouts
Liaising directly with creditors, debtors and legal representatives to keep engagements moving and outcomes on track
Analysing financial information to assess business viability and shape restructuring options
Preparing statutory reports, forecasts and variance analysis that hold up to scrutiny from creditors and regulators

What you'll bring
A business or accounting degree (or equivalent); CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it
Relevant experience as a Senior/Supervisor, in advisory, restructuring or insolvency
ARITA qualification obtained or in progress is highly regarded
An assertive communicator, comfortable holding difficult conversations with creditors, debtors and other stakeholders under pressure
Sound analytical and report-writing skills, with an eye for the detail that changes an outcome
A team-oriented team player who also takes ownership
