Inside Sales Specialist
to join the sales team at Studco Building Systems in our Croydon, VIC office. This is a
full time position
based on‐site, where you will play a crucial role in driving sales revenue and building strong relationships with our valued customers. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, providing them with expert advice, product information, and tailored solutions to meet their building needs. This role is essential to our commercial success and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business growth.
Key responsibilities
Managing inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
Providing expert product knowledge and technical advice to customers to support their building projects
Preparing accurate quotations and proposals tailored to customer specifications and requirements
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
Identifying sales opportunities and cross‐selling additional products to existing clients
Maintaining detailed and accurate customer records and sales data in company systems




Contributing to the achievement of team and individual sales targets
Liaising with warehouse, logistics, and technical teams to resolve customer issues promptly
Providing feedback on customer needs and market trends to support continuous improvement
What we are looking for
Proven experience in an inside sales, sales support, or customer service role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
Excellent telephone manner and confidence in handling customer enquiries professionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with CRM or sales management systems
Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and prioritise workload effectively
Self‐motivated and results‐driven with a focus on achieving sales targets
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also working independently
Problem‐solving mindset with the ability to find practical solutions to customer challenges
Desirable: experience in the building materials, construction supplies, or related industry sector
