About the role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will act as the HR partner for our Bayswater operations, working closely with leaders and employees to provide practical, commercially focused advice and support across a broad range of people matters. You will play a key role in driving employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
As a hands-on HR generalist, you will deliver end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, including employee and industrial relations, recruitment, talent and performance management, workforce planning, policy implementation and workplace investigations. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with the business, in particular first line managers, to deliver effective people solutions and support organisational success.
Key responsibilities
Partner with managers and employees to provide practical HR advice, coaching and support across a broad range of people matters.




Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, talent development, performance management, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
Lead and support core HR processes including performance management, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, enterprise agreements and WHS requirements.
Support and implement HR programs, projects and organisational initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Develop strong relationships with leaders to build capability and promote a positive, compliant and high-performing workplace culture.
Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and compliance activities.
Provide cross-functional support to the payroll team, assisting with payroll processing during periods of Payroll Officer leave to ensure business continuity and accurate payroll delivery.
About you
HR Qualifications with previous experience in HR within a complex, fast-paced, and diverse environment.
Previous experience in manufacturing industry will be a strong advantage.
Payroll processing experience (preferred but not essential)
Excellent leadership traits, the ability to communicate with influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of organisation.
Strong written and verbal communication with excellent listening and interaction skills.
Solid business acumen and strong negotiation skills.
Ability to apply diplomacy, lead difficult conversations with awareness to sensitive matters.
Resilience, and the ability to follow-through and drive results.
MS-Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel).
High standards of Business Practices and Ethics.
