Metro Utility Worx
is the no-fuss, high-quality provider for the delivery of High & Low Voltage contract work in the energy supply market. We provide directional boring and trenching services with the least amount of area disruption and have the capability and equipment for any scale of the project.
Operating from our head office in Knoxfield, Metro Utility Worx is well established and has been trading since ****. We operate across Melbourne, with a growing fleet of trucks and crews.
We are responsible about quality service, both to our customers and the way we look after our plant and machinery, so we are only interested in like-minded applicants. Our full equipment range includes Diesel Trucks, Excavators, Trailers, Hydro Excavation units and Directional Drills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work autonomously and manage the service/maintenance of our equipment
Perform regular safety and operational inspections on all plant and equipment
Undertake the day-to-day maintenance of all equipment – inclusive of minor daily service maintenance along with of coordination with external mechanics/service suppliers
Load, unload and stack/store materials and equipment in the warehouse yard (truck and forklift used for material movement)




Operate in line with our defined health and safety procedures and be an active team member
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities
Ensure that core material supplies are maintained in stock at all times
Qualifications, skills and attributes that are required are:
MR/HR Licence
Good organisational skills, enthusiastic and hardworking
Autonomous worker, but also work well as part of a wider team
Safety conscious & Reliable
Qualifications that are an advantage:
Equipment maintenance with repair and welding skills (mechanical trade background preferred, but not essential)
Excavator Licence

As part of safety program, we undertake regular drug and alcohol testing, relative to the role and licence requirements.
