As the Assistant Property Operations Manager, you will assist in the management of company-owned accommodation and facilities while delivering exceptional service to our team members. This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys administration as much as being out on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
n
Assist with the day-to-day management of employee accommodation and company properties.
n
Conduct room inspections and ensure accommodation is maintained to a high standard.
n
Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors and internal departments.
n
Support employee check-ins, check-outs and room allocations.
n
Maintain accurate property records, inventories and documentation.
n
Assist with rental administration and accommodation agreements.
n
Monitor cleanliness, safety and compliance across accommodation facilities.
n




Coordinate housekeeping requirements for vacant rooms and common areas.
n
Support property improvement projects and preventative maintenance programs.
n
Provide outstanding customer service to employees and guests where required.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, asset registers and statutory compliance requirements.
n
A sound understanding of electrical test and tagging requirements and associated compliance records.
n
Experience managing contractors, including reviewing SWMS, permits, licences, insurances and site inductions.
n
A White Card, forklift licence and valid Australian driver's licence, or the ability to obtain relevant licences where required.
n
Knowledge of pool plant operations, including pH and chlorine management, water testing and corrective actions.
n
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing maintenance issues based on safety, operational impact and guest experience.
n
Sound judgement in determining when maintenance can be completed internally and when a licensed contractor or specialist trade is required.
n
Strong attention to detail, record keeping and commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
A proactive, practical approach and the ability to remain calm when managing urgent maintenance issues in a busy hospitality workplace.
