Our team at Kuga is growing and we are seeking a Project Engineer with Commercial Solar experience to join our team.
This role is suitable for a high-performing engineer who:
Is a great electrical and solar engineer
Is driven, motivated and wants to work with successful team members
Is creative and looking to play an industry-leading role in delivering innovation to the market
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate technical ability covering:
Projects engineered and delivered to budget ranging from rooftop, ground mount and solar car park.
Application of applicable Australian Standards, industry best practices and methodologies
Optimisation of DC and AC designs to improve cost or performance
The research, development and implement of business improvement opportunities to gain efficiencies or cost savings
Design, specification and construction plan for:
Roof top solar over 100kW
BESS over 100kWh
LV AC electrical connection inclusive of scope of work, protection, switchboards, isolation and cables
HV AC electrical connection inclusive of scope of work, protection, switchboards, isolation and cables
Generator interlock
Design of control systems and metering
Detailed understanding of the below Australian Standards:




AS**** - Wiring Rules
AS**** - Electrical installations - Selection of cables
AS**** - Installation and safety requirements for photovoltaic (PV) arrays
AS**** - Grid connection of energy systems via inverters, Part 1: Installation requirements
AS**** - Electrical installations - Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment
AS***** - Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies
