Hydraulics Fitter
with Cylinder Rebuild experience to join our team based in
Paget, Mackay QLD
.
This is a local,
workshop-based
role offering a
4-day compressed working week
, providing genuine work-life balance while working on specialised underground mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly and overhaul of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and manifolds
Fault-finding, testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and drawings
Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and WHS standards
Working closely with electrical and mechanical trades
About You
Trade qualification as a Fitter / Hydraulics Fitter or similar
Experience in hydraulics within mining,



heavy industrial or mobile plant environments
Longwall or underground coal experience (highly regarded, not essential)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
