We want you to join in on the excitement at the Saints as our Events Lead in the Events Team.
Reporting to the Head of Events, you will take ownership of designated events from planning through to delivery and review. You will collaborate with teams across the Club, including Corporate Sales, the CEO Office, Board and Coterie Groups, to deliver events that balance commercial objectives, customer experience and brand requirements.
A key focus of the role is the day-to-day management of the Club's event systems, including Salesforce and Blackthorn. You will ensure event builds, registrations, guest information and reporting are accurate, timely and well managed. You will also bring a continuous-improvement mindset to the Events team, exploring how AI, automation and emerging technology can simplify administration and improve workflows.
About the role
Planning and delivering designated Club events to brief, on time and within budget
Acting as the primary contact for assigned events and proactively resolving issues as they arise
Providing effective on-the-ground event leadership and leading staff and supplier briefings
Managing event registrations, guest allocations, communications, attendance records and post-event reconciliation
Maintaining accurate event and customer data across Salesforce and Blackthorn
Developing consistent processes, templates and workflows that improve efficiency and reduce manual administration
Identifying practical opportunities to use AI and automation across event planning, administration, communications, reporting and team workflows
Producing event reporting and insights across registrations,



attendance and customer feedback
Leading pre- and post-event reviews and using feedback to continually improve event delivery
About you
You are an experienced event professional with exceptional stakeholder management skills
You are highly organised, detail focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
You build trusted relationships, communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with different teams to achieve shared outcomes
You are confident working with systems and data and understand the importance of accuracy and strong processes
You are curious about AI and emerging technology and actively look for practical ways to make work simpler, faster and more effective
You are commercially minded and customer focused, with the ability to balance financial, operational and brand considerations
You remain calm under pressure and approach challenges with sound judgement and a solutions-focused mindset
What you need
Mandatory:
Proven experience planning, leading and delivering events
Experience managing event budgets and supplier relationships
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience using CRM and event management systems, including event builds, registration processes, reporting and data management
Confidence using AI, automation or other digital tools to improve workflows, administration or reporting
The ability to develop detailed event plans involving multiple teams and stakeholders
Availability to work flexible hours across seven days during the football season, including weekends and public holidays
A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
A tertiary qualification in Event Management, Business, Marketing or a related discipline
Experience within professional sport, events,



entertainment or another fast-paced environment
Experience using Salesforce and Blackthorn
