We are seeking2 Lead Security Analysts / Cyber Threat Analyststo join a specialist cyber security environment focused on protecting critical systems and responding to evolving cyber threats. This is a12-month contract with potential extensions, working across security operations, threat analysis, vulnerability management and incident response.

What you'll do
n
n
Conductthreat-driven security analysisof systems and environments.
n
Analyse threat intelligence to identify system-specific cyber threats and risks.
n
Monitor security events and investigate potential security incidents.
n
Develop and maintainincident response plans and playbooks.
n
Analyse security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation solutions.
n
Review existing security controls and identify potential weaknesses.
n
Develop procedures for monitoring and analysing security information and events.
n
Support the planning and execution oftest and evaluation activitiesfor systems and products.
n
Work closely with technical teams and security leadership to strengthen security posture.
n
Provide technical support and advice to security leadership as required.

What you'll bring
n
n
Demonstrated experience working within aSecurity Operations Centre (SOC)as a Security Analyst.
n




Strong hands-on experience withSplunk Enterprise Security.
n
Experience withEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR)platforms.
n
Experience withNetwork Detection and Response (NDR)platforms.
n
Experience withSecurity Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)platforms.
n
Strong understanding of threat analysis, security monitoring, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
n
Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, theASD Information Security Manual (ISM)andEssential Eightis desirable.
n
Solid analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
n
Ability to work effectively in a highly security-focused environment.
n
Current TSPV security clearance is mandatory
