The restaurant serves dine-in and takeaway customers in one of the city's busiest retail precincts and also trades through online food delivery platforms including Uber Eats, DoorDash and Kraven, giving customers a convenient way to order meals for delivery.
The business is built on quality food, consistent service and a welcoming dining experience, and its team works closely together across the counter, the kitchen and the online order channels to keep daily operations running smoothly.
About the Position Siri's Food Paradise is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee and coordinate its day-to-day business and retail operations across the physical restaurant, the food court trade and its online delivery channels.
The role is central to keeping the product range, pricing, promotions and service standards consistent across every sales channel, managing stock and supplier relationships, supporting the small front-line team and monitoring daily sales and delivery activity so that customers receive the same quality whether they order at the counter or through an app.
Reporting to the Director,



the Retail Manager will carry responsibility for the commercial, staffing and compliance side of the operation and will play a key part in the restaurant's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities Determine the food product mix, menu range, stock levels and service standards based on customer demand, sales trends and business requirements.
Develop and implement purchasing, pricing and promotional strategies for food products and services in consultation with suppliers and business management.
Monitor market trends, customer preferences and competitor offerings to inform pricing, product selection and promotional activity.
Promote the restaurant's food products and services through in-store promotions, online platforms and food delivery channels.
Assist customers with product selection, provide information on menu items and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Monitor stock levels, place purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers and maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases and sales transactions.
Prepare and monitor budgets for revenue, operating expenses, purchasing and other day-to-day business activities to support sound financial management.
Manage the recruitment, selection, rostering, training,



performance and supervision of restaurant staff to ensure adequate staffing and effective operations.
Monitor daily sales, customer orders, takeaway and online delivery activity through Uber Eats, DoorDash and other delivery channels, and coordinate operations to maintain service standards.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, food handling, workplace and other regulatory requirements applicable to the restaurant's operations.
Coordinate pricing, product availability, promotions and service delivery consistently across dine-in, takeaway and online food delivery channels.

A Diploma or higher qualification is required.
A qualification in Retail or Hospitality Management is highly regarded but not mandatory.
A minimum of one year of experience in a retail or hospitality management role.
Sound working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, online food delivery platforms, stock control and ordering, record keeping and budgeting, together with a practical understanding of food handling, workplace health and safety and employment compliance obligations in a food service setting.
Strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to lead, roster and motivate a small team, sound problem-solving and decision-making under pressure, and availability to work across the trading hours of a busy city food court, including weekends.
