CSSD Technician Knox Private Hospital Casual positions available Knox Private Hospital is seeking motivated and detail-oriented CSSD Technicians to join our Central Sterilising Services Department on a casual basis.
As a valued member of our CSSD team, you will play a critical role in supporting secure patient care by ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are cleaned, sterilised, assembled and supplied to the highest standards.

About the Role Reporting to the CSSD Manager, your responsibilities will include: Decontamination, inspection, assembly and sterilisation of reusable medical devices Preparing instrument trays and equipment for operating theatres and clinical areas Ensuring compliance with infection prevention and sterilisation standards Maintaining accurate documentation and tracking processes Contributing to a safe, efficient and well-organised department Working collaboratively with theatre and clinical teams to support patient care About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous CSSD experience within a hospital setting Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (or working towards) desirable Sound knowledge of sterilisation processes and infection control principles Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work across a range of shifts as required A commitment to quality, safety and excellent customer service Why Join Knox Private Hospital?
