About the Division
The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is a division of the Department of Education responsible for delivering the Victorian Government's significant investment in school and early childhood infrastructure.
It oversees the planning, procurement, construction, and maintenance of facilities across the state, supporting the Government's commitment to the Education State.
Working closely with industry, schools, and stakeholders, the VSBA delivers major capital programs and innovative infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of growing communities.
About the RoleThis is a fixed term full time position until 30 June ****.
Reporting to Next Generation New Schools (NGNS) Executive Lead, the Program Manager (NGNS Technical Lead) is responsible for directing and overseeing all design, technical, engineering and ICT aspects of the NGNS Project throughout the procurement, tender evaluation, contract finalization and construction phases.
The NGNS Project will involve the construction of nine new schools delivered under the Government's Partnerships Victoria framework.
Key Attributes
The ideal candidate will have:
* Developed leadership, stakeholder engagement and project delivery capabilities, underpinned by technical experience in major social infrastructure projects via the Partnerships Victoria Framework or major DBFM contracts.
* Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements,



manage consultants and contractors, and navigate contractual and governance frameworks.
* Adept at building team-oriented relationships, influencing outcomes, and balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery to achieve value-for-money outcomes for government and the community.
