Squad Employment, Training & HR is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Field Officer to join our Sydney team.
As a Field Officer, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with host employers across a range of industries, identify new business opportunities, and support apprentices and trainees through regular mentoring, site visits, and performance discussions.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain solid host employer relationships across multiple industries
Identify and secure new business and placement opportunities
Promote Squad services and achieve placement and growth targets
Conduct regular mentoring, performance reviews, and site visits
Support apprentices and trainees throughout their employment and training journey
Monitor wellbeing, workplace performance, and training progression




Ensure compliance with employment, safety, and training requirements
Provide high-quality service to hosts, apprentices, and stakeholders
About you
Strong relationship-building and business development skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
Friendly, professional, and confident in networking environments
Ability to mentor and support younger workers with patience and emotional intelligence
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
Current Working with Children Check
General Construction Induction (White Card) desirable
Previous Experience in apprenticeships, traineeships, VET or workforce development necessary .
