The Role
Working within the City's Strategic Planning unit, you will:
Plan for key strategic infrastructure to support the City's urban growth and major development areas.
Manage the preparation, costing, administration and implementation of Development Contribution Schemes.
Manage a range of projects including engaging with consultants, preparing project briefs and reviewing reports to support the planning and delivery of key strategic infrastructure projects.
Provide specialist advice and support on infrastructure and engineering matters.
Flexible working arrangements are available, applications from part-time candidates are warmly encouraged.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant qualifications in project management, infrastructure planning, engineering or similar.
Experience in the planning, design, delivery and project management of infrastructure and infrastructure related projects, including strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, ministerial guidelines and practice notes in relation to urban growth, subdivision and infrastructure planning.
Excellent written, communication and engagement skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
A current drivers licence and National Police Check assessment are required for this position.
