About Albatross Health Centre
Located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navy's only air station.
The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to **** ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally ********* Monday-Friday, with medical officers on-call for aviation retrievals.
Whatyou'lldo
Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
Conductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
Minimum two years' Post Graduate experience within last five yearsin mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' as per Medicare Schedule
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenshiprequiredfor Baseline Security Clearance
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
