We are seeking an experienced
Truck Driver
to join Drillcut on a
contract basis
. Based in
Broadmeadows, VIC ****
, this role is pivotal to our operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and products across various routes, maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position plays a crucial part in supporting our logistics operations and maintaining our reputation for reliable service delivery.
Key responsibilities
Operate trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
Load, secure and unload cargo in accordance with safety guidelines and company procedures
Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, representing Drillcut positively to customers
Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence, as required for the role
Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
Must have own vehicle(Truck)
Proven experience as a Truck Driver in the transport or logistics industry
Strong knowledge of vehicle safety procedures and compliance requirements




Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for vehicle and cargo security
Good communication skills and a skilled, customer-focused attitude
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual lifting and loading tasks
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and digital logbooks
A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
