Key Responsibilities
n
Daily Warehouse Operations
n
Coordinate closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor to plan and allocate daily tasks.
n
Ensure the timely receipting of goods and dispatch of custom smoke control orders.
n
Monitor workflow to ensure production schedules and project deadlines are consistently met.
n
Take responsibility for the packing and occasional delivery of goods as required to support operational and customer needs.
n
Quality & Accuracy Control
n
Conduct regular floor checks to confirm jobs align with pick lists, drawings, and specifications.
n
Verify correct sizes, materials, finishes, and compliance requirements prior to dispatch.
n
Lead by example by actively assisting with picking, packing, loading, and manual handling of custom assemblies during peak periods.
n
Inventory & Materials Control
n
Oversee accurate receipting, storage, and stock counts of materials and powder coated jobs components to prevent delays that may impact the committed delivery date.
n
Ensure all inventory movements are correctly recorded in the system.
n
Team Training & Safety
n
Train team members in the safe handling and storage of smoke control products and components.
n
Promote and enforce a strong safety‐first culture within the warehouse workplace.
n
Cross‐Functional Coordination
n
Liaise with Production, Project Mangers Engineering, and Sales teams to promptly resolve any NCRs.
n
Must Haves
n
n
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment,



with prior experience supervising or leading a small team.
n
Attention to detail- Strong focus on accuracy when handling project‐specific and bespoke items, including labels, measurements, drawings, and dispatch documentation.
n
Problem Solving Skills- Ability to resolve issues relating to non‐standard items, custom packaging, or specialised dispatch requirements.
n
Systems and Technical Skills- Comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software to manage custom SKUs and ensure traceability. NetSuite experience is beneficial but not mandatory- training will be provided.
