RAM Equipment is seeking an experienced
Diesel Mechanic
to join our growing team in Richmond, South Australia.
This is a primarily workshop-based role with occasional field service work, offering variety across a broad range of heavy machinery and equipment. If you're looking for

About the Role
Based in our Richmond workshop, your responsibilities will include:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy diesel equipment
Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsAttending breakdowns and minimising equipment downtime




Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Assisting with the commissioning and setup of new equipment
Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience (preferred)
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work setting
Experience working on construction, earthmoving, mining, or industrial equipment (highly regarded)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technician, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' industry experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
Experience working on construction, earthmoving, mining, or industrial equipment (highly regarded)
A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum C Class)
