Victorian Oral and Facial Surgeons (VOFS)
are looking for a Full Time experienced Dental Assistant to work at their BRIGHTON EAST practice.
VOFS is a leader in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the bayside, south east and Mornington Peninsula regions of Melbourne. VOFS' surgeons provide specialist oral and maxillofacial surgery services in our state-of-the-art practices and operate at the best hospitals in the regions. The main duties will include but not limited to:
Assisting the surgeons with the preparation and follow up of surgical procedures, extraordinary facial surgeries, and medical/dental multi-disciplinary patients in hospital theatres as well as in the rooms under local anesthesia or IV sedation
Assisting with stock ordering, inventory tracking and management
Supporting the Senior Management team to ensure that clinical activities and processes are performed effectively and efficiently.
Assisting with taking clinical records (clinical photos) and radiographs (subject to have an certificate IV in Dental Radiology and radiation license)
Skills and experience required:
Minimum 5 year of experience in a Dental Assisting role
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (desired but not essential)
Willingness to learn and contribute to the team
Friendly and positive attitude
High attention to detail
