Our client is a growing construction services business seeking a motivated and detail-focused Estimator to join their team.
n
Working closely with the estimating, project and technical teams, you'll play an key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders and quotations.
n
Skills & experience:
n
n
Able to read and interpret construction drawings, or has a strong willingness to learn
n
Numerically confident with strong attention to detail
n
Confident using Excel and general computer systems
n
Highly organised and able to manage multiple tenders
n
A good communicator who works well with different teams
n
Positive, proactive and willing to learn
n
Interested in developing a long-term career within estimating
n
Manual drivers licence
n
n
What matters most is that you're switched on, comfortable with numbers, highly organised and keen to build a long-term career in estimating.

Key responsibilities:
n
n




Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation
n
Completing quantity take-offs and measurements
n
Calculating labour and material costs
n
Assisting with quotations and tender submissions
n
Following up on tenders and quotations
n
Preparing exclusions and tender clarifications
n
Assisting with RFIs and gathering information required for pricing
n
Working closely with estimating, project and technical teams
n
Assisting with the handover of successful tenders to the project team
n
Managing multiple tenders and priorities in an organised and timely manner
n
n
