They're looking for a Centre Manager to lead their Armadale centre, someone who believes children deserve the freedom to explore, take risks and learn at their own pace, and who wants to build a centre that feels like part of its community.

The Role
n
As Centre Manager, you'll take on the Nominated Supervisor role for the service, leading the day-to-day operations, culture, team and community relationships that make a centre thrive. This is a hands‐on leadership role — you'll be just as comfortable getting down on the floor with a toddler as you are reviewing a budget or hosting a regulatory visit.

Key Responsibilities
n

Hold Nominated Supervisor responsibilities under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
n
Lead, roster and mentor a team of educators, ensuring qualification and ratio requirements are met at all times
n
Maintain and drive the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) against the National Quality Standard (NQS)
n
Manage enrolments, occupancy and centre-level budgets and financial performance
n
Build genuine, ongoing relationships with families, local schools and community groups
n
Own WHS, child safety and regulatory compliance across the service
n
Champion the client's philosophy and culture in the everyday life of the centre
n
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance and professional development for centre staff
n
Manage incidents, complaints and liaison with the state regulatory authority
n

What You'll Bring
n
n




Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (a Bachelor of Early Childhood / ECT qualification highly regarded)
n
2–3+ years' experience in early childhood education, including experience in a leadership, 2IC or Centre Manager role
n
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Current National Police Clearance
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certificates
n
Sound working knowledge of the NQF, NQS, and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
n
A track record of meeting or exceeding NQS ratings
n
Solid people‐leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team
n
Confidence managing budgets, occupancy and day‐to‐day business operations
n
n
Highly Regarded (but not essential)
n
n
Prior experience as a Nominated Supervisor
n
Experience opening, acquiring or transitioning a centre
n
A proven ability to support and drive occupancy growth
n
Existing relationships within the local community
n
Experience with Owna childcare management software
n
A genuine passion for nature‐based, child‐led play pedagogy
n
