As our Data Practice continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Data Engineers to design, build and deliver modern data platforms and scalable data solutions.

The Opportunity
n
As a Data Engineer at Novon, you will design and develop reliable data pipelines, integration services and cloud-based data platforms. You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, from solution design and development through to testing, deployment, optimisation and ongoing support.
n
What We Are Looking For
n
n
At least six years of commercial Data Engineering experience.
n
Strong development experience using Python and SQL.
n
Hands-on experience with one or more modern cloud data platforms,



including Databricks or Snowflake.
n
Experience developing transformation pipelines using dbt.
n
Experience designing and managing data workflows using Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
n
Strong experience with distributed data processing using Apache Spark or PySpark.
n
Experience building streaming or event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
n
Strong understanding of ETL and ELT design patterns.
n
Experience with data modelling, data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
n
Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
n
Clear communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
