Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced
Boilermaker / Welder First Class
to join our expanding Mackay facility.
We are a highly respected industry leader and offer a modern workshop, excellent working conditions, competitive remuneration, and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of hydraulic cylinder repair, manufacturing, and reclamation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG (solid and fluxcore), TIG, and ID welding on hydraulic cylinder components.
Manufacture, repair, and reclaim hydraulic cylinders and associated components.
Carry out fabrication, pressure vessel welding, and arc gouging as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and safety.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
About You
Trade Qualified Boilermaker or Welder First Class.




Minimum 3 years' relevant industry experience.
Experienced in MIG welding, with TIG welding experience highly regarded.
Skilled in arc gouging and general fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards.
Experience with ID welders and rotators.
Hydraulic cylinder manufacturing and repair experience.
Forklift, Dogging, or Rigging Tickets.
