As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable, hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Attendant to help keep our property presented to the highest standard, inside and out.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Grounds & Maintenance Manager, the Grounds & Maintenance Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the gardens, car park and all outdoor areas of the hotel, ensuring our grounds always make a great first impression on arrival. You will work independently, take pride in your work, and be a reliable member of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform routine gardening and landscaping, including weeding, mowing and hedge trimming, rubbish removal
n
Maintain the car park and terrace areas to a consistently high standard
n
Clean, maintain and correctly store all tools and equipment
n
Notify the Grounds & Maintenance Manager when materials or supplies need ordering
n




Provide driver support as required
n
Adhere to the safe use of chemicals and follow safe work practices
n
Maintain high personal grooming and presentation standards
n
Common area cleaning
n
Assist with other related duties as required
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Working knowledge of how to safely operate gardening tools and equipment.
n
Must have a valid NSW Driver's Licence
n
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
n
A solid understanding of workplace health & safety and PPE requirements
n
Excellent communication skills and a solid work ethic
n
A friendly, professional manner and pride in your presentation
n
A genuine team player with a positive, can-do attitude
n
