Empty Container Forklift Operator AM PM shifts
Oceania Container Services is one of Melbourne's leading shipping container parks and was established by COSCO Shipping (Oceania), providing ourselves with firm values and a base of long term customers. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Empty Container Forklift Operator to join our Melbourne Depot inBrooklyn.
Qualifications & experience
Minimum 12months experience handling empty shipping containers with the ability to operate a twinpick forklift efficiently and effectively. Ability to learn and use the self-mounted tablet inside fork for operations.
Strong proven skills and experience, Strong attention to detail.
Must be physically fit.
Immediate start preferrable
Valid Police check preferrable
Must complete the company provided pre-employment medical
Tasks & responsibilities
Safe unloading & Loading containers from trucks




Demonstrated ability to operate twin pick container handlers of different brands
Willing to work ongoing dayshift or night shift per company requirements
Be confident to work unsupervised
Be able to work at a fast pace environment while meeting all OH&S; regulations
Be Fit and Healthy
Hard work ethic and robust safety focus
Abilityto work in a past paced depot loading/unloadingtrucks in safe manner.
Safe and effective container stacking ability
